Q: How Much Money Do I Need To Have To Move In?

A: We hear this question a lot and the answer is, "it depends!" 
Just like when you buy a car or finance a house, the terms of the financing depend on your personal situation...
 
~do you want to buy or just rent?
~what's your employment history?
~what's your past rental history?
~what's your overall credit history?
~what are your references like?

So for example, if you have a good job history and a good reference from your past landlords, you are more likely to be approved to move in with less money down.  However, if you have poor rental history (evictions, etc.) and no verifiable source of income to make your payments, you would be required to have much more money down in order to move in.
